Beer Tips for Warm Weather

Duff Beer Koozie

Hello, Spring weather! It’s been a long, cold, harsh winter for many states and regions, but there is finally light at the end of the tunnel. Many regions are finally beginning to see warmer weather and new growth from plants that have been covered with snow all winter. As the snow melts away and you are feeling the joy of warm weather, you most likely are excited to change so much of your day-to-day activities. Your diet can change with the arrival of seasonal spring produce. You may be beginning to whip out the clothes with shorter sleeves and hemlines. And you may also be changing up your beer.

Often times, beer drinkers will change up their beer choices and habits with the onset of warmer weather, especially if the weather is especially warm and you begin going on vacation, to the beach, on the boat, or just drinking outside. Lighter beers are often preferred once the weather gets warm. Also, there are many things you can do to protect your refreshing, ice cold beer from the sunshine. Read on for tips.

1) Cooler

Obviously the cooler is the preferred route to take at the beach or any other outdoor setting. If you don’t want to lug a big cooler around, then check out a soft-sided small cooler or cooler-tote bag. Many of these will hold 8 beers and are light and easy to tote.

2) Cans

If you are heading to the beach or pool, always carry cans instead of bottles so there is no chance of leaving any broken glass. Cans are also lighter, space-saving and easier to carry. They also work perfectly when on a boat.

3) Koozies

Ah, the koozie. What a wonderful invention! This simple and very affordable beer holder effectively keeps your can or bottle cool.

4) Shade

Whenever possible, keep your beers out of the sun and under your umbrella or any type of shade.

Bottoms up!!
